- I grew up in Massachusetts and later moved to San Diego during my time in the Marines. After the service, I was working as a first responder when I discovered my passion for aviation. A surprise discovery flight from my wife led me to pursue a career change, and I completed most of my training at Palomar Airport. Now, Im excited to help aspiring aviators reach their goals and develop a deep appreciation for the skies above. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- !! Flight & Safety Services offered include; Private Pilot Training ($65/hr.), Instrument Rating ($65/hr.), and Commercial Rating ($65/hr.). Aircraft checkouts, PCF Annual Safety Flights, and Biennial Flight Reviews are $80/hr. Proficiency and Safety Pilot Services are billed based on the client’s highest rating. Virtual ground training is available upon request. My instruction is offered at a reduced rate through a model I call Reserve Rates. This pricing reflects a balanced arrangement: students receive high-quality flight training at a lower cost, while agreeing to a degree of scheduling flexibility. Due to my on-call work obligations, I may occasionally need to reschedule with as little as two hours’ notice. While this is infrequent, it has occurred.
