Based out of McLellan-Palomar Airport (KCRQ) in Carlsbad, California, Pacific Coast Flyers is a non-profit flying club and has been providing rental aircraft to North County San Diego since 1999. During this time we have become the premiere aircraft rental provider in San Diego, Riverside, and Orange Counties. We provide well equipped and well maintained aircraft of the highest quality possible.

When our club founders saw the rental environment in San Diego they knew that things could be better. With nothing around but huge impersonal behemoths, and tiny poorly run clubs, it seemed that no one was really serving the pilots of San Diego County. With just a few aircraft and an idea for a better rental experience for pilots Pacific Coast Flyers was born. Through the years PCF has evolved into the premiere flying club and aviation community in San Diego County.

With our model based on keeping airplanes online and flying instead of expansion, growth, or club profits we concentrate on the things that are important to our members; a safe, clean, and highly available fleet of well equipped aircraft. Our policies and guidelines encourage flying by the members and maintaining a safe and fun environment with a sense of community. We give our members (and fleet) the attention and TLC that other clubs, schools, and FBO's don't.

Our Mission

At Pacific Coast Flyers it is our mission to provide our members with the highest quality flying experience possible. We do this by (a) providing modern and diverse fleet of well equipped and maintained aircraft at reasonable rates (b) organizing safe, fun, and educational flying experiences for all of our members and (c) promoting a sense of community among our members and with the general aviation community (d) provide a safety conscious environment and promote responsible aviation practices through continuing education, open discussion, and community outreach.
